Penn Traditions is about your lifelong relationship with Penn! Penn Traditions is a student organization under the Penn Alumni umbrella. Our mission is to celebrate Penn’s history and traditions, connect students and alumni, and promote and inspire lifelong Penn pride. Penn Traditions is comprised of three branches, all led by student leaders, and provide involvement opportunities for students of all class years! All Penn Traditions committee members will have unique opportunities to connect and network with Penn Alumni. Noah Milad, C'26

President & Student Chair to the Alumni Board Noah Milad is a junior from Salisbury, Maryland, and Cairo, Egypt, majoring in International Relations and Political Science, with a minor in Modern Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Pennsylvania. He is deeply involved in campus leadership and research, serving as President of Penn Traditions and President of the International Relations Undergraduate Student Association. He also sits on the President’s Student Advisory Board on Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian Students, advocating for cultural representation and student engagement. Beyond his leadership roles, Noah is an Institute of Urban Research Student Fellow, where he focuses on policy analysis, urban development, and international relations, particularly in the Middle East. He also serves as a Program Assistant for Penn in Washington, helping facilitate student engagement with policy and government affairs. Noah has been actively involved in shaping university traditions and student experiences. Since joining Penn Traditions in his freshman year, he has worked to strengthen connections between students and alumni. Now, as President, he is committed to expanding its impact. He also played a key role in New Student Orientation & Initiatives, helping coordinate large-scale events for over 2,500 students and managing a $500,000 budget. Nationally, Noah had the honor of serving as a Student Delegate at the Student Conference on U.S. Affairs (SCUSA) at West Point, where he contributed to discussions on international policy and U.S. foreign affairs. He was also selected to represent the Penn student body in a private meeting with President Joe Biden, engaging directly with the President on key student and policy issues. Outside of academics and leadership, Noah enjoys hanging out with friends and eating chicken bowls at McClelland.

Kylee Countryman, C'27

Marketing & Communications Chair Kylee is a current undergraduate student pursing a double major in criminology and political science. She joined Penn Traditions during her freshman spring and fell in love with the welcoming club atmosphere.  Her favorite Penn Traditions projects have been volunteering during alumni weekend and planning homecoming festivities.

Avia Webber, C'26

Finance & Operations Chair Hi everyone! My name is Avia Weber and I am a junior majoring in Psychology and International Relations. I have been a part of Penn Traditions since sophomore year where I worked with the philanthropy and class ambassadors teams! Now, I am really excited to take on this executive team role with optimistic energy! Beyond academics, I do Tae Kwon Do and stake out the best places to get a chocolate croissant!

Reagan Reese, C'26

Co-Chair for the Engagement Ambassadors Reagan is a junior in the college studying Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) with minors in Neuroscience and Consumer Psychology. She joined Penn Traditions to connect peers with alumni through fostering a greater sense of school spirit on Penn’s campus. Outside of Penn Traditions, she is a licensed EMT through Penn's Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT), member of Chi Omega Fraternity, is on the Penn Panhellenic Council and serves as interim Co-President of the Penn John Marshall Pre-Law Society. Reagan recently interned in the U.S. House of Representatives, where she found a passion for government and law. After Penn, she hopes to work in the government for a few years before attending law school and practicing corporate law.

Co-Chair for the Engagement Ambassadors My name is Mohamad, I am a first-year student planning on studying International Relations! I grew up in Philly, but am originally from Damascus, Syria. I also really like to travel around the world to learn about different cultures.

I’m a sophomore from Tucson, Arizona studying chemistry in the college and business with a concentration in marketing in Wharton. I’ve been in PT since freshman spring and had a great time at alumni weekend last year!!

Ava Heydarian, C'28

Co-Chair of Philanthropy Ambassadors Ava is a freshman in the college from Bethesda, Maryland. She is interested in studying the humanities and economics. She joined Penn Traditions this past fall and is excited to be a part of the leadership team. In her free time, she enjoys learning languages and rock climbing.

Zoya Ahmer, C'25

Senior Representative - Class Ambassadors Zoya Ahmer is a senior from Little Rock, Arkansas, majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics and minoring in Survey Research and Data Analytics. Class Ambassadors and Penn Traditions has been an unforgettable part of her time at Penn since she joined her freshman year. Aside from Penn Traditions, she is involved in the Body Empowerment Project and Penn Political Review and enjoys playing piano, reading, and swimming in her free time.

Associate Director, Penn Traditions and Young Alumni Programs Susanna is the primary advisor for Penn traditions and has been in her role since February 2024. She was the Graduate Assistant in Alumni Relations while she pursued her MSEd in Higher Education from Penn GSE and loved it so much she just had to come back full time after graduating in May 2023. She lives in the city with her husband, cat Morty, and dog Rory, and can usually be found binging the latest reality tv craze.

Maia Cohen

Administrative Coordinator, Classes & Reunions and Students & Young Alumni and Advisor, Philanthropy Ambassadors Maia is a Philadelphia native and Pitt 2021 grad with a passion for the environment, art, and community. Her favorite part of being a Penn Traditions advisor is getting to meet amazing students from all different walks of life. Hurrah hurrah!

He's from Ohio, is usually ordering Chinese takeout, listening to pop music or podcasts, and planning his next trip to see friends, family or the world!
